Broiled Grapefruit

 

I had grapefruit for the first time a couple weeks ago and have been on a kick ever since. If you don’t like the slightly bitter taste that it has, then I recommend that you follow this recipe. It makes for a great warm and healthy dessert!

Ingredients

  • Ruby Red Grapefruit, cut in half
  • 2 tsp maple syrup (you could also use brown sugar instead)

Directions

1) Turn oven on Broil. Pour 1 tsp of maple syrup on each half. Place grapefruit in oven and broil for 2 minutes.

2) Remove from oven and enjoy!

The result will be a warm, juicy, and slightly sweet grapefruit!
