Crockpot Lemon Chicken

Another recipe from Plain Chicken, makes a very flavorful and moist chicken. I could have eaten the entire pot in one sitting. I ate mine with some vegetables on the side, but you could serve it on top of brown rice or whole wheat pasta.

  • 1 lb chicken breasts (I used a little less than this because it was all I had)
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock

1. Place chicken breasts, Italian dressing mix, butter, lemon juice & chicken broth in the crockpot.

2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. When finished cooking, serve with vegetables on the side or shred chicken with 2 forks and serve on top of rice or pasta.

Sorry – not a super appealing picture, but I promise it’s tasty! Enjoy!

Does the chicken go in frozen or thawed out? It looks frozen in the pic but just want to make sure
