Pumpkin Dip

  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 2 – 8 oz packages of fat free cream cheese
  • 4 Tablespoons brown sugar (not pictured)
  • Cinnamon, to taste

1. Beat cream cheese until soft. Then, mix all ingredients together. This can be done either in a mixer, food processor, blender, or with a hand mixer.

Serve with apple slices or pretzels (or fruit of your choice). I may even use this for an oatmeal topping this week…pumpkin cheesecake oats anyone?

Note: The dip made with fat free cream cheese will probably have more lumps in it (as pictured above) than if made with reduced fat or full fat cream cheese, but tastes the same in this recipe. Also, depending on your preference, you may want to add more honey or brown sugar. If you don’t have either of these on hand, you can always use maple or pancake syrup as your sweetener.
